Raising Awareness

This part of the project is dedicated towards the creation of a community to help foster, inform and educate on the mental health topic. We find there is a huge deficit of knowledge and information on the mental health cause and we want to play our part in changing that. This is the reason we came up with this section, a private community where you will be informed by professionals and other witnesses on news and tips on how to deal with certain situations or actions.

About the project

Starting point

The first step towards creating our community is to integrate professionals and people who are willing to be a respectful part of the community. There is no requirement or certain skills needed to join the community, although we will evaluate you based on whether we feel like you will use, and won't make others feel uneasy, in which case you may be banned.

Even though everyone can join, we understand not everyone may believe what a witness has to say, so we have implemented tags (professional, witness, learner) which will be verified and given out by us in order to help you filter out information and choose who you want to read from.

Support from local communities

As is the point of our community, we have developed a section where any individual or business can post themselves and questions, volunteering projects or job offers in order to help network. We ourselves hope to create connections with members of the community to organize projects.

Why private?

We find ourselves in the first stages of the project's development and we are constructing the communities base right now. It is because of this we are filtering the communities members in order to consolidate individuals and organisations who are interested in helping us grow. Once a certain level has been reached, the community will be public, but there will be chat restrictions until you have been verified by us and placed into one of the three tags.

COMMUNITY INSCRIPTION

You will be messaged through mail once your application has been reviewed and a decision has been made on whether we believe you will help support or foster the communities well being. An inscription can always be re-sent.
